Manchester’s award-winning Christmas Markets are back this winter, running from 9th November - 23rd December 2019. Whether you're festive gift shopping or enjoying a pre-Christmas weekend-break the Markets offer visitors a charming atmosphere, mouth-watering food, drinks and delicately crafted Yuletide gifts in the heart of this energetic city. With over 300 beautiful stalls and charming chalets spread across the city centre, there is something for everyone and the Christmas Markets are free and accessible to all.

Soak up the atmosphere as you explore the market trail that winds through the city centre, tempting you with an array of gifts, crafts, jewellery, clothes and toys. European and local producers offer an eclectic mix of wares from fine amber jewellery, handcrafted leather bags and top-quality bonsai trees, to handmade Belgian kitchenware, framed photo prints and French soaps. 

The Manchester Christmas markets have an amazing assortment of food and drink. Enjoy a warming mulled wine and savour traditional bratwurst, or treat yourself to Hungarian goulash, Spanish paella or a delicious old-fashioned hog roast. For those with a sweet-tooth, you will be spoilt for choice with mouth-watering pastries, candy-cane and traditional Christmas treats.

You will find a family-friendly site on cathedral gardens with its own ice-rink so its sure to keep the kids (large and small) happy!
