Lanzarote - 7 nights Family Self Catering ★★★
The most easterly of the Canary islands with a distinct identity, Lanzarote is a unique & intriguing island to explore & discover, it has beautiful beaches and spectacular volcanic landscapes.
The biggest resorts are found in the south of the island attracting groups looking for an easy-going, sunny time with great water-sports, bars, restaurants and shopping. Over on the west coast though, it's a different world; one of wave-beaten cliffs and quiet, whitewashed villages.
If you venture away from the main towns and resorts there are many places of interest to explore, such as Timanfaya National Park in the south-west. The most symbolic sights on the island however, are those created by the union of lava & sea that give the landscape such incredible visual impact.
Costa Teguise is found on the south-east coast of the island, only 15 minutes away from the vibrant capital Arrecife. The resort boasts 5 sun-kissed beaches linked by a promenade lined with a variety of shops and restaurants. One of the most popular places for families is Playa del Jablillo – it’s sheltered from the island’s breeze and has calm, shallow waters.
Families get a big welcome in Costa Teguise. The bigger beaches have kids’ activity parks – and at Playa Bastian you'll find a soft-play area and bowling alley, along with a big waterpark when you're all beached out!
